A guild is a group of craftsmen. It is a trade organization. It’s a fraternity. It’s an association of like minded individuals. Basically, a guild is a club. Infected guild is a site that i thought up a few days ago. The internet is filled with networking sites. These time wasting social networking sites is not about networking. It’s about showing off pieces of you personal life. It’s about letting people know how cool and complete you are. When i browse social networking sites, i see the same old thing. It’s a homepage of clones.

I think the whole ingroup outgroup thing comes into play with social networking sites. Even guilds play the in group out group card. I believe that people are great and intelligent as individuals. But, if you group them together, you have corruption. Of course, civilization and rapid group was made possible by guilds. But, it doesn’t mean that our lives have become better. Our lives have become easier, but i don’t know if my ipod makes me happy.

I do believe that the internet is a great thing. Too bad that so many people are cluttering it with junk. I think the internet and blogging is a great way to be independent of the system. It’s a great way to publish your comments. Too bad most people just want to mess around online. These social networking sites are filled with junk pictures. I wish there was a collection of people like me. I guess that’s why i started infected guild. I want to reach out to people like me. I guess i’m like everybody else. I just want to fit in. I know that i don’t fit in with the social networking crowd tho.
